The revitalization of Golden Gate Village has been shaped by years of input provided by residents who have said they want their buildings and homes revitalized and living conditions improved. In 2022, the residents of Golden Gate Village created The Resident Plan, outlining their vision for the future of the community. The current plan to revitalize Golden Gate Village closely follows The Resident Plan, ensuring the goals of the community are realized.
Following completion of The Resident Plan, Marin Housing Authority and Burbank Housing held a series of outreach meetings to solicit further input from residents. Beginning in June, 2024 and continuing today, these meetings provide a vital source of information, directly from residents, about what is working and what needs improvement within the Golden Gate Village community.
The current plan to revitalize Golden Gate Village incorporates the years of input provided by residents and closely follows The Resident Plan, ensuring the goals of the community are realized.
